First Movie of Malayalam Actor Mohanlal

Malayalam actor Mohanlal made his acting debut in the film Thiranottam which was made by Mohanlal and his friends in 1978. But due to censorship issues the film was not released. It was released 25 years later. 
His first movie to be released was Manjil Virinja Pookkal in which he played the antagonist. This film was released on December 25th, 1980. 
This movie was the directoral debut of Fazil.
