One of the Superstars of Malayalam Films, Mammooty made his acting debut in the Malayalam film Anubhavangal Paalichakal.

This film directed by K.S.Sethumadhavan, was released on 6 August 1971.

The Film starred Sathyan , Prem Nazeer and Sheela. Mammooty appeared in a single scene in this movie.
