Bollywood actor Aamir Khan first appeared on silver screen as a child actor in the 1973 Hindi movie Yaadon Ki Baaraat, when he was eight years old.That film was produced and directed by his uncle Nasir Hussain.

Aamir's first feature film role was in the experimental film Holi which was released in 1984.

He began his full-time acting career in Bollywood with a lead role in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (meaning From doom to doom ) which was released on April 29th, 1988. This Hindi romantic drama was produced by Nasir Hussain and directed by Mansoor Khan.

QSQT was amajor success and it turned Aamir into a popular actor.
